About Us

COMPREHENSIVE HIRE, INC. is not an employment agency or recruiter firm.  Our clients are typically owner-managed businesses that do not employ a full time HR staff.  We fill the roll of an HR Hiring Manager on a per-position / contract basis by completing the day-to-day tasks of hiring.  Our full service hiring program fee is approximately 9% of an employee's annual salary, a fraction of agency rates.  We also provide per item pricing and ongoing contractual programs.

We often receive 50, 100 or more resumes for one position.  Hire us and we read all resumes and forward you only those phone screened to your hiring criteria.
More applicants respond to ads that include both a phone number and the name of the hiring company.  We include our phone number and your company name in the ads we place.  Yes, it takes time to answer all applicant inquiries, but we want the most possible applicants to respond to the ads we place.  The more applicants that respond to an ad, the better chance we have to quickly and successfully find the right person for your position.

We utilize many low and no cost ad options.  Ad budgets for positions we work on are typically $500.00 to $1,000.00.

Our fee for a full-service hiring program is 9% of a candidate's annual salary.  That is $3,600.00 for a $40,000 employee. A fraction of agency fees and we think, money well spent.

At the Helm:
Talley Flora, CEO of Comprehensive Hire, Inc. has over 18 years of business experience.  Before starting Comprehensive Hire, Inc.  in 1999, she managed a local Human Resource Consulting Firm for five years and has worked as a recruiter and in outplacement.  Talley is a graduate of Iowa State University.  She has had extensive experience hiring and consulting with both service and manufacturing related businesses.  Outside of work, Talley is a member of Edina Morningside Rotary Club, spends time with her son, Teddy, and can often be found in her kitchen and garden.

Amanda Muhlbauer, HR Consultant, is a two + year team member of Comprehensive Hire, Inc.  Amanda holds a Bachelor Degree from Iowa State University and came to Comprehensive Hire with medical and general staffing experience.  Amanda has two beautiful children, Taylor and Gavin.
